The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Condemns the Terrorist Attacks on Security Forces in Chad
It asserts: Those who attack the security forces seek to create chaos in society
The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates condemned the terrorist attack carried out by ISIS militants today, by detonating a landmine that exploded as a military vehicle passed by at Kalam in the Lake Chad region, killing at least 8 soldiers and wounding others.
The Organization said in a statement the Islamic law recommended maintaining human rights and protecting it against abuses; besides, it threatened those who shed blood to be severely punished in the world and the hereafter. The Holy Quran said: “Truly the only requital of those who fight against God and His Messenger and hasten about the earth to do corruption there is that they shall be slaughtered, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the land. ۚ That is a degradation for them in this world,ۖand in the Hereafter, theirs will be a great chastisement.” [Q. 5: 33].
The Organization pointed to the fact that policemen and armies play a great role in protecting nations. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says “Two eyes will never be touched by the fire of Hell; an eye which weeps out of fear of Allah and an eye which spends the night in guarding in the Cause of Allah.”
At the end of the statement, the Organization extended its condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, praying to spare the whole world the flames of intolerance, extremism, and terrorism.
