Al-Azhar Graduates Condemns the Terrorist Blasts near a Hospital in Afghanistan

It Affirms: Terrorism Does Not Considerate the Sanctity of Religion
The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates condemned the terrorist explosions that took place, this Thursday, near a military hospital in Balkh Province, North Afghanistan. The attacks resulted in the killing of two, while eight got wounded.
The Organization stated, in a statement released today, that shedding the infallible bloods is one of the greatest sins that provoke the wrath of Allah Almighty. The statement added that Islam preserves the bloods of all humans, and menaces whoever dares to assault the innocents with severe punishment, as Allah Almighty says: ” and that you do not slay the life which Allah has made sacred, except rightfully”. [Q.6.151], affirming that terrorism does not considerate the sanctity of religion.
The statement stressed that the crimes committed by the extremist groups, especially assaulting the innocents, are totally prohibited in Islam, as Allah Almighty says: ” And whoever slays a believer deliberately, his requital is Hell, abiding therein, and Allah is wroth with him and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a mighty chastisement” [Q.4:93]. Indeed, Prophet Mohammad said in such concern: “Avoid the seven destructive things.” It was asked: (by those present): “What are they, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “Associating anyone or anything with Allah in worship, killing of someone without a just cause whom Allah has forbidden”. [Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The Organization concluded its statement by presenting its condolences to the victims’ families, praying to Allah Almighty to grant the wounded a speedy recovery and to protect the world against the atrocities of fanaticism, extremism and terrorism.
